No there isn't an extra package, and I'm having the same issue on another computer so it isn't because of any damage I have done. I just can't get any custom content to appear in my game no matter where I put it. I'm not good with computers so don't really have any idea how to fix it.

Mods and CC needs to go in the mods folder you find there.
