@tigerpanzer6666can you clarify that question a little?
Do you mean install them? Create and add to game? Ones you downloaded with trays included?
Sorry, it's a bit vague
Normally, you just install them via GALLERY or you place them in correct mod folders..

i mean from sites like nexus or mod the sims what i was told to do does not work
@tigerpanzer6666Its defined in how to... but to make it easy.
PC \ DOCUMENTS \ ELECTRONIC ARTS \ SIMS 4 \ make sure u have folder Mods. ( your sims have a lot of files in my documents )
Place unzipped files in mods folder.
They will appear as .package
Trays go in tray folder ( unzipped)
Make sure custom content is enabled.
Make sure scripts are enabled
( find enable in main menu options )
Do not put mods more than 2 folders deep in mods folder
For sanity... try to keep them sorted and organized..lol.
( like mods \ clothes \ clothes .package )
If no mods folder... create it
It should track to mods added like this: ( my example is just how my full body clothes are set )@tigerpanzer6666Mods could also be out of date.
Post december a lot of older mods do not work.
I personally go back no further than 2022 and thats very few mods I do. You can see some in my pics that are. But they have been tested and tried to be truly working right.
0 script ones that old...ya thats why i did i ever watched a video and in the video the person deleted 3 folders but all 3 of the folders the youtube deleted are only the ones that are in the mod i have
