Deleted custom make-up shades keep reappearing

Hi, I've recently went back to playing Sims 4 after a few months and went on to creating Sims, whenever I use the custom shade feature for make-up, I save it to copy it for different clothing categories and then delete it when I'm done.

But recently there's been an issue where I go into CAS and all of the deleted shades reappear, so I delete them but then the next time I open the game they reappear. It's very time consuming to delete them all each time and I can't save new ones due to 'going over the limit of custom shades'.

Is there a way to make them not reappear, or at least get a 'delete all' button for each make-up option to save time from having to delete them one by one in a future patch?
