Disappearing control panel
I just started playing Sims again and I don't have a lot of storage on my laptop but I cleared up enough space to download and fit everything plus some new cc. When I started playing, when I started ...
@shayskyo6 This problem is caused by mods, typically one that changes the user interface such as UI Cheats or those by TwistedMexi. Remove any of those you have, delete localthumbcache.package, and test the game. If the problem is gone, you can look for updated versions of the mods.
If the problem is still present, you'll need to test your other mods in the same way. Custom content wouldn't cause this issue, but mods and cc can be packaged together, so make sure you go over your Mods folder carefully.
I took out all of my mods but unfortunately I'm having the same problem. I going to try removing everything.
@shayskyo6 If removing your entire Mods folder and deleting localthumbcache (again) doesn't help, please clear Origin's cache:
https://help.ea.com/en/help/faq/clear-cache-to-fix-problems-with-your-games/
and repair the game: open your Origin game library, right-click on the Sims 4 icon, and select Repair.
