Discover University with Custom Content on Mac Issue

Good Evening!

I am back with a small issue which is most likely my fault. I recently installed Discover University to my Sims 4 game and just had my sim apply and attempt to enroll in school. However, I found that the loading screen (after selecting "Enroll to University" and filling out class schedule information) wouldn't stop loading unless I removed my custom content folders. Now, I would I like to be able to use the custom content with the pack but I'm here to ask if it would be too much to run on my MacBook Pro.
