Do configuration settings files go into tray folder?

I downloaded a modded household from the internet and the site says to put the tray files into the tray folder, but the only Files that are not PACKAGE files are called for example:desktop.ini and th...

Tray folder holds the households, lots, and rooms you have saved to My Library or downloaded from the Gallery.

As you have downloaded a household, the tray is where they go indeed.

Or could you take a picture of the files you've downloaded with these type extensions?
