Download of website missing files and floders

I downloaded the sims through ea website but i don't have any sims related files on my laptop like where to adds mods and stuff i played sims before and was able to do all of that stuff but since i got my new computer and downloaded off the website instead of using the CDs like my other laptop the files aren't there. How do I get the folders and files.
