@mizzmashxo Are you perhaps using a syncing program like OneDrive? It sounds like something decided that since you had a new file, it was going to "fix" where your folders all are.

hey, ive had a look around but unfortunately I'm not very techy. Hopefully nothing has dispearrpd forever just a matter of finding it? but even all the stuff in my library has just gone so can't even try to replicate my sims and houses x

@mizzmashxo Pick a filename of a file you know you have in one of those folders and search for it. Check the *full path* of the folder.
Do you use OneDrive or something similar? For OneDrive, you can get support with finding your stuff wherever it is right now at the link I posted above. And then get support on getting OneDrive away from Sims and your stuff back where it belongs.

searched my one drive and can only find one folder in my Mac documents but I'm afraid I'm still not sure
