[ECO] [CoL] NPC Sims STILL not filling regular positions after latest patch

Question

So, is anyone still having the issue of duplicate mayors, grocery stall owners, etc? I am, and have it with or without mods installed. I'm at a loss here, and fed up.&nbsp;This latest patch that was supposed to fix this hasn't done a thing for me.&nbsp;Not to mention the fact that I now have another as yet unexplainable bug that I just discovered while in Finchwick/HoB. My sim went to busk on his guitar, and he refuses to use the performance/busking station. So ok, I thought, he can still play. However, he can play individual songs, but can't/won't jam. He just puts his guitar back into inventory when I try that option.&nbsp;Anyone else?Edit: The issue with jamming on his guitar seems to be limited to Finchwick, as it just now worked fine at his home. I will be trying other locations just to be sure, and will report what I find out as soon as I am able.Edit2: Not limited to Finchwick. Not sure why it works fine in his home, but he can't/won't jam anywhere else.

@Hawksdaughter  Is this in a save you already had them replaced ? If so, try deleting the Sims that are currently in the roles and see if they are replaced with the correct ones.

@crinrict, yes, it is, and I have already deleted them numerous times, to no avail. I had simvision's NPC mod for a while that fixed them, but there was a small patch, last week/few days ago? and then that mod no longer worked properly for me. I removed that mod after hearing that this latest patch was supposed to fix things, but it hasn't. At least Sara Scott, the pub owner, and the Crumplebottoms are staying where they belong, but the grocery deliverer, Rahul, Kim from the Grocer stall, and the Creature Keeper keep getting replaced. As well as the mayor.

This game is so broken...

@Hawksdaughter Are they wrong on the info board or just the wrong grocery deliverer showing up when you order something or the wrong person hanging out as creature keeper ?

The delivery was always a bit random who actually showed up.

The grocery deliverer I'm referring to is the one that delivers in Finchwick, Rahul Chopra. I rarely order for delivery to my sim's home, and that sim is sometimes random. When one does the welcoming errand for Mayor Lavinia, you also have to speak to the grocery delivery guy about his dreams, which should be Rahul, who is also her son. The main Finchwick sims are there on the info board, (in manage households) but so are the duplicates. I just don't get it. I delete the dups out, but more just appear. I've re-installed simvasion's NPC mod just to see if it will work again. Guess I will find out.

It will break my heart, but I am so frustrated with the state of the game that I am ready to lose all my sims play and re-install the whole game. The patches released the last couple months have just about destroyed all my enjoyment of this game. And I don't believe that EA cares one bit.

@Hawksdaughter If you want to re-report it as a bug, you should do so in the bug forum. That would be the better place to see if others are also still experience issues.

I haven't played much but for me it was fine (didn't do any errands though). For me, the board on town shows the correct Sims now and delivery, creature hut, pub and stands all had the correct Sims. I did have to delete the ones that were wrong though.

If you want to start over, save all your Sims and houses to the gallery and replace them in a new game (just in case you weren't aware you can do that)

The mod might cause issues now,
