The electrical items constantly give out electricity —- is there a cheat to turn it off?

@loutsoul13 There is no cheat to upgrade appliances, as far as I know. Although, there are cheats to increase skills, like handiness, as well as a cheat for adding a "Handy" trait that makes it easier to fix and upgrade appliances. See the spoiler below if you're interested.

To cheat the handiness skill:
stats.set_skill_level Major_Handiness X
(replace X with whatever number is the next level; so if your sim has level 1 skill, use stats.set_skill_level Major_Handiness 2 and then 3 and so on)
To give your sim the Handy trait:
traits.equip_trait TheKnack
(Handy Sims can instantly Fix and Upgrade any object.)
By the way, if you want a fairly extensive list of cheats, search for Sims Online Cheats. I use this site all the time because it's easy to navigate as well as copy / paste. They also include some tips and tricks.
