endless loading screen at 888 spire apartment

How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
What is your current game version number? 1.91.186.1030
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? all except werewolves and most kits
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? have a family live at 888 spire apartments, save, quit and exit the game, then press the play button, the bug should occur another is, have another household visit 888 spire apartment that is owned, and the bug should occur
What happens when the bug occurs? endless loading screen
What do you expect to see? no endless loading screen
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Yes
Please describe the patch or change you made. 1.91.186.1030

What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? I have everything except For rent, growing together, wedding stories, home chef hustle, and like 5 kits.
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? attempt to edit the top floor of the 888 spire apartments, then go to save the game
What happens when the bug occurs? the game will be unable to complete the save, instead it will show the saving screen endlessly. it doesn't do this for any other house, or the other two floors on this lot. i've tried doing it with a family moved in and without, but it still won't save.
What do you expect to see? be able to edit and save the top floor of lot 888 spire apartments

Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? I'm not sure, the last time i played this lot was on another save years ago, so i have no idea when this glitch could have started

@Midgepo I merged your post with another thread on the same issue.

Do you have any lastExceptions happening ?

Please try some of the troubleshooting steps given to the other user.

@crinrict Hi there! Unfortunately my problem is not the same as theirs, as theirs is a loading issue and mine isn't. I'm just unable to save the game after editing the top floor. I've already tried the methods given as I've seen their post before and they haven't worked, nor do I get any lastExceptions.

Hi @Midgepo Unable-to-save issues are often a result of mods or CC. Have you tested without?

Hello! Yes, as I mentioned in my post I have mods and tried removing the folder and attempting to edit and save, but it does the same thing.

@Midgepo Since that's a Penthouse lot, what happens if you step back to the saved version, save that to your Library, and then put it back on the same lot?

By step back to the saved version, do you mean the original version of the lot? I'm sorry, I'm not sure what you meant.

@Midgepo I was going to have you restore an earlier save point, but actually it's worth seeing if you can do a simpler Library swap of the lot first. Just load the currently saved version of your game, save the lot to your Library, then bulldoze the lot and place it back from the Library. Then see if it works.
