turned out that i had a broken mod, once removed game ran fine again.

@hinakura55 Please test without mods. Loads are incompatible with the patch

I haven't played the game in a while and fully updated it but when I launched the game and made it passed the loading screens I got an unexpected error, 102:43e45dc7:9b1d35c8 to be exact. No idea why or what to do about it, it just tells me to restart the game with does not work.

@a5qwrr3jguav Are you using any mods/cc in your game ? Loads are outdated and need updating

@crinrict I am having similar issues . Yes I have tried the 50/50 method nothing. Vanilla method .. nothing. I have tried everything the forums have suggested and still nothing. I update my Mac and still nothing. Re installed both sims 4 and origin still nothing. The only my game works if there is not any script mods enabled in the game. I removed all cache file even the resource files still nothing. All broken mods have been updated some aren’t so I just left them as they were. The main problem are the script mods and I am not sure how to fix that which is why I’m here although I’ve tried everything suggested. There is still this error 102:43e45dc7:f0f0437e not sure is the number makes a different but I have come to realise these numbers mean different issues here?

@Najessie It usually does make a difference, especially on the 102/122s

If it works with script mods disabled, then it's most probably a script mod.

When you remove everything, did you delete the locathumbcache file ?

Did you try renaming the user folder and let the game create a new one ?

@crinrict do I just delete all mods with script mods ? I did delete the locathumbcache file not the user file. How do I got about doing that then ?

Try resetting your user files as described in the factory reset described in this post: http://answers.ea.com/t5/The-Sims-4/FAQ-Troubleshooting-Steps-amp-Known-Issues/m-p/3621199

You won't loose anything. Just make sure to not delete any files and make a backup.

After renaming, repair your game by right clicking on the game in Origin.

Try on a new game with nothing added back first (start new game). If it works, put back your save game and try again. If it still works, you can start putting stuff back.

Options.ini (or just re-set all your settings manually)

Tray Folder

Screenshots/Videos/Custom music

Rest of the save games (leave out slot_00000001.save which is the autosave and no longer needed - if you still have it)

Custom content like clothing, hair, skins, make up ....

ConfigOverride, if you have your own configuration files.

Mods (one by one, making sure they all still work)

The rest does not need putting back, cause they are mostly cache files that recreate or log files that are not needed for the game.

I have been having the same problem, but I am in the USA. I literally cannot play. No matter what I do it jumps back to the select world screen with the ERROR CODE: 102 43e 45dc7 bc97946 saying I should relaunch. I have relaunched, repaired, updated mods, removed the mods/cc folder, started a new game (same BS after I planted a sim in Forgotten Hollow) deleted the cache and avatar cache thingies. Literally everything I can think of. I may have even wrecked two saves (not my main one thankfully) just ones I use for testing stuff. I don't know what to do. I haven't been able to play at all since the pack released. How much more junk will EA be releasing unfinished? This is frustrating and disgusting. Do you ever plan to repair this? Weeks? Months? Friday is tomorrow, last week you said bug fixes would happen this week. All I got was that SDX drop thing this morning.

This isn't a bug, it's a nightmare. And no one at EA will bother telling me how to fix it, if they even know how.
