Try removing the user folder Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4 to make a new one (this doesn't happen automatically when you reinstall the game).
Do I need to do another uninstall/reinstall? Or just back up my saves/mods and delete the folder?
Just do the new user folder part.
