I tried it just this afternoon and it... kinda... worked.
I'm darn good at relationships in the game. I thought I would have NO problem with this. Piece of cake, right?
Took me two sim days to get the friendship bar going and get rid of the bad things. Another two days to get rid of the enemy bar and start the romance again.
I got the romance back up from -100 to +14 and then... IT STOPPED. Completely. I got friendship to +82 and romance to +14. You will note this is JUST shy of "best friends" and "girlfriend/boyfriend".
They definitely changed something in the game when it comes to romance. I would do romance options, over and over and over, they would constantly say {heart}++ but the romance bar would be stuck at +14. It was like that for a WEEK. Romance options would all work, {heart}++ over and over, but the bar wouldn't budge. I tried EVERY romance option in the game. Nothing make it budge.
Not sure what happened but something "unstuck" it and it started moving again, and solved the scenario.
But something's definitely wrong with the scenario's thing. They borked romance somehow.
