Thanks for the fish link, the counters is a no, I've tried moving the top counters and it still won't let me place items on some of them and it did the same thing with nothing in the room but the counters. No lamps were in the way but I'll keep trying, so far the two counters I was using is the country kitchen and the realm of magic counters.

@Mirandanik79 Have you tried to place them in another house ? Do you get the same results ?
