I am playing on PC. Yes I know mods can create problems. Yes, I checked my mods. Yes, I update my mods. These issues are not created by mods. That is always the first thing I check. As I said the problem is neighborhood stories that have been poorly tuned. EA has a tendency of doing things half assed and saying it’s good enough then fumbling at patches to fix things they simply did not play test. I’m just saying they should look into it. I have my game moded to the wazoo because very few things get fixed or corrected. Especially tuning. Without mods the game is not playable. Neighborhood stories have missing features. I already me too to a lot of things. Neighborhood stories are just exceptionally bad. I turned it off, switched to mccc story progression and a lot of the issues vanished. No they were not working simultaneously. It’s a bit annoying that the game devs add features I promptly need to shut off so my game doesn’t go crazy because quality control isn’t great. I am already looking for a mod that will make sim follow commands. I like my sims having autonomy, but that shouldn’t overwrite players commands and yet I spend half the time in the game fighting with my sim and telling them to do things they cancel out of even if it’s the most needed and logical thing to do. The gray hair issue is an easy fix. Just limit gray hair to elders. I personally rather that then have aging teens. Not ideal but far better. This issue was mentioned in 2014 and 2020. So clearly something happens during patches that makes this issue come back.
