This was fixed in today's patch
I keep getting this save error code and it happens every time I launch the game and go to save. It happens right after one of my sims becomes frozen and won't go onto another task. Shift+Debug on the sim fixes the sim and they are no longer frozen (resetsim + name does not work), but the save error code still occurs. I do not have any custom content or mods, I do own all of the game packs and stuff packs. I am playing on a Mac.
Please help! I really like playing the sims but I can't keep playing if I am going to lose my progress every time I launch the game.
I've noticed a 510 error this evening as well. It is not the same as this one, since it is 510:a19a5568:f7fe8698.
I minimized the game and went on the internet where I found this post. In another post it said it could be fixed when closing the lifestyle brand down. I wanted to see if updating it would solve the save issue as well, so I updated the lifestyle brand and tried to save. Where it previously wouldn't let me save, it now did save successfully. I played for 30 minutes and was able to save the game with no issue, where there was an issue before I updated the brand after this amount of time.
I tried saving the game after the royalty payout the next day, and that worked fine as well.
