Food Stalls and Vendors only sell produce - without deleting the world?

All Food Stalls and Vendors only sell Fruits and Vegetables.

In theory I have already resolved this issue by deleting a mod that lets me work as a barkeeper or waitress.

However, it is only resolved when I start a new game. Unfortunately I have a save file where I deleted all families and all lofts to re-do the whole world.

And this Save File is alos effected by this bug.

I thought if it only affects food stalls... I can live with that, unfortunately it also effects the stores in the magic world and any other form of vendor.

Most other posts suggest deleting the game and just restarting... but since I have already redone 5 world completely and poured a hell lot of time and effort into this and the relationships the Sims have... please please please tell me there is a different resolution of how I can save specifically this safe file without deleting it or saving every family and every loft and rebuilding them at a different save (all relationships etc. would be gone)

    @Pinar2306 Haven't seen this posted for a while! Here's the note from the Master Post pinned in this forum:

    Food stall and Festival vendors sell only produce – causes include outdated custom food stalls, outdated playable NPC career mod. NOTE: Althought this is an old issue and you're unlikely to currently have outdated custom food stalls, if you do get this error, delete the stalls before saving; outdated custom food stalls have been known to cause save corruption.

    @Pinar2306 It's not all the vendor stalls you'd be deleting, only custom ones that you had mods for, and then you'd remove the mods. But there's a chance that if you can't get those mods anymore, this isn't a recoverable save... for which my condolences. I've done this move to a new save and it's not fun. FWIW, I use a combination of MC Command Center, the Club system, and UI Cheats to reset inter-household relationships.

    @luthienrising ah well other than the job Mod I have no mods that affect the stalls even in the slightest :/ And as I've said, in new save files it is working as always ☹️
