Food stalls not opening

Are the stall vendors there and just standing behind the stall and not opening it or are the stall vendors just not there?

In some zones, the vendors will spawn at the furthest spawn point, and it takes them quite a while to get to the stall to open it.  Myshuno Meadows is good for that, but I've seen it in other zones and one stall doesn't even get a vendor most of the time.  Usually, the vendor for any of the stalls in the San Myshuno zones are not there on load in but do show up in a minute or two.  And there is an issue in the Magic Realm where one of the vendors will just stand around for quite a while before going to and opening the stall.

Idk about Chestnut Ridge as I haven't played in those zones, only visited them for a short time before leaving.

Unfortunately the vendors don’t show up at all, I’m usually at the locations for some time and the food stalls just never open 😔

Have you ever had stall vendors?  If you did and play with NPC aging on, then the ones you had could have aged up and died off and the game didn't make new ones.

Are you having any issues with bartenders and DJs?  Those work the same way as the stall vendors.

Do you have a bunch of sims in the Other tab of Manage Households?  That's where the vendors, bartenders and DJs are drafted from.  Have you edited those you have and given them regular jobs?  If a sim has a regular career, then the sim won't be chosen as a vendor or other roles.  Although, the game should be generating sims for those roles so something is off if you are not getting any.

You could try to get some by generating a few new sims in CAS.  Should only be 1 sim per household, at least one as a YA, one as an Adult and 1 as an Elder.  Then mark them as unplayed in Manage Households so the end up in the Other tab.  Play the game a bit to see if they will show up as vendors.

And you could try repairing the game.
