I'm having this issue now and it has made the game unplayable.
I have tried everything from resetting my sim, creating a new save, creating a completely new game, resetting objects, uninstalling and reinstalling the game, flushing the DNS, defragging and cleaning my disk space, EVERYTHING!!! And of course all in between I was restarting my PC over and over.
I contacted support and they said they'll "fix it on the back end".... what does that even mean this has been an ongoing issue that hasn't been fixed and has broken my game!! Paying hundreds of dollars on this game over the years with expansions and packs and such just for this bs to happen is ridiculous. And I just learned that it is 100% with the For Rent expansion because when I move my sim to a single lot, they act just fine. It's only when I try to do anything with a "Residental Rental" lot.
I really hope they fix this ASAP because we deserve what we paid for.
@daq25c9cq33w To confirm, because this is the Mod/CC Issues forum, this is happening for you with an empty Mods folder and in a fresh gameplay folder (dragging The Sims 4 out of Electronic Arts to the desktop)?
