Freelance career option missing

Question

I was playing the sims 4 and I noticed that the option for joining a freelance career is missing. I do have mods installed but I did remove the mods and it still was gone. I tried starting a completely new game with a game reset but it still didn't fix the issue. I've tried verifying the game files and made sure my game and PC was up to date.

@Slash0914 when you did a game reset, did you take out (or rename) your entire The Sims 4 folder and did it force you to start a new game?when you say verifying your game files, do you mean in Steam?

I did take everything out and it did force me to start a new game.I have the sims 4 on origin and when I say verify I meant the repair option.&nbsp;
