Freelancer Career bug

Question

I am new to this so i apologise in advance if this is not written in the correct format.

My sim is a freelance Painter and is currently level 9 in this career. If my sim goes a day without doing a gig, she gets a phone call from her "job agency" to select another gig. But the jobs available are strictly for the Home Decorations career not the painting career. Is anyone facing this bug at the moment?

Any help would be appriciated, this is happening everytime she does a day without having a gig in her jobs list. She is a single mum to twins, she is a bit busy sometimes.

@TheAimzy52 That's a quite old bug that EA never really have addressed. There's an ongoing thread about it. I've been getting this bug since my new save. Dream is a freelance artist, and every single day he gets a call from his 'agency' about gigs being available, even when he literally has a freaking gig active in the career panel. When I click 'ok' the gigs that pop up are Dream Home Decorater gigs... which Dream doesn't have?? His wife, Devotion, is a gardner and doesn't have this issue.

I do have mods (though they're up-to-date) and it's not breaking anything but it is.. weird and kind of annoying?

@Caitlin2498 Have you tested with no mods? Drag the Mods folder to the desktop, delete the file called localthumbcache, open the game to test, and exit without saving.
