I spend an hour making a detailed character in CAS without using any custom content, but when I save the household, the gallery shows the custom content icon as if it contained any. Sometimes the game also "freezes" (everything moves as normal but clicking on gallery/saving/menu/etc doesn't do anything). I'm very confused and it's been happening only since the switch to the EA app, it's very annoying because households with cc only appear if you allow them to and I tend to think they just disappear. I've noticed using genetics or importing another household always triggers this issue, and also spending too much time in CAS seems to trigger it too. Is there any ways to fix it and save me hours of making my characters all over again ? Or at least make it not trigger again when I create a sim ?PS: when I say they don't have any cc, I mean I didn't use cc on the sim, but I do have cc downloaded and allowed in the settings, maybe it's linked to that ?

@mineruwu Have you tried downloading the Sim into a vanilla save ? You can just rename your folder, start the game and then create a new save game and download your Sim from the gallery and see if it's still that way.Afterwards you can just delete the newly created folder and rename the old one back so you have your old stuff.

I did just that and it worked thank you ! I also noticed I had a height adjuster mod installed I totally forgot about and I think that's what caused the cc, it probably randomized into a height that's not in the base game and the game considered it cc. I just deleted the mod and loaded the households into a new save and it fixed it, thank so much again you saved my life ! <3 <3

I'm starting to have the same problem, where about a third of the Sims I upload to the gallery are being flagged as modded, but they haven't been (in most cases, I actually try to limit packs, eg just 5 or 6, when dressing sims). I tried the suggestion you gave the OP, but it didn't work for me. Is there another thread I can add this glitch to? Or is there a different workaround?

@gertie47 Do you have your Sim in the gallery ? If so, what's the name ?

@mineruwu Have you tried downloading the Sim into a vanilla save ? You can just rename your folder, start the game and then create a new save game and download your Sim from the gallery and see if it's still that way.

@crinrict Thanks for your response! My username is gertie47 - a few examples of sims I've created that say they have CC, when I didn't use CC, are "Lyon" (ie, Kyle Lyon), "Whitaker" (ie, Asher Witaker) and "Page" (ie, Isabel Page). But there are more than that. This problem seems to have started after the last update, and I don't know if is connected to the new Grunge Revival Kit, as these sims all have items from that kit.

@gertie47 If place her in my game and re-upload to my library, there's no cc showing. To be sure, you tested on an empty mods folder ?

Does posting to an empty mods folder mean that I upload them in a save with mods disabled?

@gertie47 Basically, yes. Even better would be moving the mods folder to the desktop then try a new save

@gertie47 i once had that problem. i found out one of my game mods made a cloting change wich cause all sims to be flaged as CC. so try with all mods ou of the game (save the mods folder somewhere else for short.)
