gallery

I'm having a problem with placing gallery lots into lots in the game. I have a 30x20 and I can't place lots that are larger or smaller or the correct size, it comes up with an error saying "this object can't be deleted." I don't know what object this is, I've tried bulldozing the lot, when I try to bulldoze terrain, it comes up with the same error. I have reset the game and my PC and have tried to repair the game. I'm not sure what to do to fix this.

Hey, thanks for trying to help. I actually figured it out...just for future reference if anyone has this problem, it was actually because there were sims on the lots that were apparently interfering with the grid, which i did not know was possible. I got out of build mode and moved them to the street instead of actually on the grid of the lot and it placed perfectly fine. Apparently i never tried it on a lot without any sims.

I was having the problem on any lots, but it was specifically the Pancakes residence (I'm not sure the lot name) and Bargain Bend.

Oh! Sorry you're having this issue. Unfortunately, I'm not having trouble placing any lots. Do you mind giving an example or two of the lots you're trying to place? I'd like to try placing them to see if it's an issue with the specific lots.

@bellsies Oh wow! That is strange indeed. I didn't know that was possible either. Whenever I've placed lots with sims present, they've always been moved to the street or sidewalk automatically. Anyway, thanks for letting us know! Perhaps you could click "accept as solution" on your post to let others know what fixed it for you. Have fun playing!

I think it was in live mode for a couple of seconds so they moved to the actual lot part and then it interfered with the placing of the gallery lots. It was really interesting though, certainly nothing I had ever had to deal with before.
