Hi @FridaMaria1234 Let's do a test to see if it's mods or not. What we're going to do is create a new game folder, run a test in that, then copy back files and re-test.
- Exit Sims 4 then drag your whole Sims 4 folder from Document > Electronic Arts to your desktop.
- Launch Sims 4 and reset your Options.
- Start with New to test if your issue recurs.
If that works:
- Exit and copy files out of your old Saves folder into the new Saves folder that the game has made. Important: Don't just copy the old folder! You want to use the newly created folders.
- Launch Sims 4 and use Load to select your regular save to test. This will let you know if your issue is save-specific. If it is, we've got a post in Game Issues for that.
If that works:
- Copy your old Tray files (this is your Library), Screenshots and Videos files.
- To test mods, copy the files into the new folder *in batches* with any mods they depend on (injectors and core mods, for example). Don't copy your old resource.cfg file. If you delete any mods from the new folder, delete localthumbcache. Check the instructions on 50-50 testing here: 50-50
- For complex mods, it's worth redownloading and rechecking installation instructions.

Hi, sorry for a late reply. I took out my Sims 4 folder and started with a brand new one. I moved over my Tray files Saves files. And I did it by copying the stuff inside and moving it over, and not by taking the file itself and moving it over. I opened my game and first I tried to open my save by clicking resume. That did not work and my game crashed. So I tried to open my save through the load menu. It worked and I was able to get into the world but when I was going to load my household it crashed. I was about to give up but then decided to open the same world but load a different household. And it worked. The problem must just be with the household. I have also tried putting the old folder back with mods and everything. And it all works exept for that one household. Luckily I was not far in my gameplay with that household and have not gotten too attached, so I can just start a new household. Thank you for helping. Your advice helped me get on track on figuring out the problem.

@FridaMaria1234 Just out of curiosity, did you try using Manage Worlds to move your household to a new lot?
