Game camera controls changing randomly?

Product: The Sims 4
Platform:PC
Which language are you playing the game in? English
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
What is your current game version number? 1.64.84.1020
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? Discover University, Get Famous, City Living, Get Together, Seasons Dine Out Perfect Patio Stuff
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Go into build mode, build a bit, wait and see
What happens when the bug occurs? The camera controls are something I'm not used to.
What do you expect to see? The camera controls I'm used to.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Yes
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Yes
Please describe the patch or change you made. I installed a mod.

I was in build mode, building a house, when suddenly, something weird happened. I usually play with the Sims 3 Camera controls and panning the camera with W, A, S, D but suddenly, Pressing A did nothing, Pressing  Q made the camera move towards the left, Pressing W zooms in and and remain the same. Those are not the controls I'm used to, and I have no idea why it's doing that, if it helps at all, it started to happen after I added a specific mod to my game, although I am not sure of so, since I wasn't really in build mode long enough before I added that mod. Is this supposed to happen? I thought my keyboard was the issue so I swtiched it, didn't work, I tried restarting my computer, didn't work, tried ''Repair Game'' on origin, didn't work, I even tried disabling Sims 3 Camera, also didn't work, at this point I don't know what's causing the issue.

  • @JrMalungo If it occurred after a mod was installed, make sure that mod is still compatible with the current patch level.

    EA doesn't support mods.

Test if it also occurs without mods.

*UPDATE* The controls have gone back to normal but don't expect it to stay that way.

@JrMalungo Just tested my game to make sure it's normal and for me they work like the arrow keys

What kind of keyboard are you using ?

An Acer keyboard, nothing special, but like I said, I even tried switching the keyboard and I still experienced it.

Yup, English US keyboard, although the issue might be one of the mods, they might be bugging, I'll see if the isssue continues with mods/cc disabled.
