Game completely unplayable after update

I've just gotten the newest update, I load in hyped to see my sims again after so long... I go straight to CAS, I make a family to add to my world and I load into the household... and everything is blank. Everything. The game is on pause, there's no sim icons, the task bar doesn't exist, the UI is moved to the left a bit. It looks like I don't have any sims selected. I exit the household to see if maybe it's just them that are corrupted, go to tje next household and it just doesn't load it sends me back to world select. I reload the save and I try again, same results. I try again this time loading straight into my last played family, the UI is broken like before. Try another save, same thing. 

What in God's name is going on here. 

I've got mods, but it's all the basics. The stuff everyone has. ONI Lumpinou granny's icemunmun MCCC basemetal, the essentials. Blazenlotus Tiana's recipes and that one mod that has realistic recipes too. 

I forgot my specs or the exact details of my computer it's my dad's but I'm on the most recent Windows 11 update and it can run some heavy games like Palworld or RDR2 with ease.
