Game Continuously Loads

I started up the Sims 4 this morning after not playing for about a month. I updated the game and updated my mods, but when I got back in, the game would load forever. I was able to go into CAS on my regular save, but once I actually tried playing, it just stays on the loading screen. I was able to start a new save just fine. I moved all my mods and deleted any gameplay mods like MCCC and Wonderful Whims. I deleted the local thumb cache thing and I verified the integrity of game files on Steam because that’s where I got the game. Is it a lost cause? Should I try deleting all of my mods instead of just moving them, or is there something else I could try? I’m seeing that a lot of people are having this issue after the newest update.

I'm not sure why it pasted twice, but this is what I got after copying it directly from my files... If that makes sense... I added my mods back in in order to have MCCC because I knew that I definitely got the notifications for lastexception from MCCC.

  • That_Writer  Yes, it's worth trying to load this save with your Mods folder removed.

If that doesn't help, please open Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4 and delete any lastexception files you see.  Try again to load this save, still without mods, and look for a new lastexception.  If you find one, open it (Notepad is fine), copy its text, and paste it into a reply here.
