I received my new computer, and transferred all my Sims 4 files over and everything seemed to have worked. I open the game and it was moving really slow. I lower the graphics thinking that's the issue, but it just moves slower and slower. Now it's back to crashing again. I now have a 2023 Mac Mini Apple M2 Pro updated to macOS Ventura 13.5. I'm at my wits end with this game constantly crashing on me! I'm doing the 50/50 methods as i do use mods, and it won't replicate the issue when I do so. It only crashes when all my mods are in, but I can't identify any particular mod or cc that is causing it. Is there any possible way to look at my save file itself to see if the issue lies there? Can a crash report determine what the issue is? I don't know what else to you here. Thanks in advance for whatever help you can give.
I repaired my game, I created a new Sims 4 folder like you suggested, and then “Unrecognized Video Card” popped up when I loaded up the game (attached). Should my graphics be set up a certain way on my Mac? I also did this as suggested in another related thread:
Origin in System Preferences/Settings > Privacy & Security > Full Disk Access?
Now I loaded the game again and it just froze on the loading screen in between swiping between the words and the plumbob had disappeared, so essentially after creating a new Sims 4 folder, the game won’t load.
