Game crashing to desktop when launching a game

Mine too !! It has been like this for days now & I still yet to have answers as to why it did this & how to fix it !!

@theneutralsims @Sirisson84 If you've confirmed that disabling mods or, as a best test, dragging the Mods folder to the desktop and deleting localthumbcache lets you launch the game, there are two things you can do:

  1. Go to the pinned Broken/Updated Mods and CC list in Mod/CC Issues . Right now that's this thread: https://answers.ea.com/t5/Mods-CC-Issues/Broken-Obsolete-and-Updated-Sims-4-Mods-1-107-May-28-2024-Game/m-p/13754418#M62689. A new one is started for each new-numbered patch. Use the lists to find what needs to be removed and replaced. However, you'll see from the first post that not all mods and CC are covered at AHQ, so...
  2. To find what the list doesn't include, you can use the 50-50 technique to isolate broken content.
