Game Failed to Load Error

Question

I just updated a couple of my mods since they came out with patches for the horse expansion, and it seemed fine until my sim had a baby, and after she gave birth, the baby was in her home but not a part of her household. I figured maybe it would fix if I went into CAS, and the baby did show up as a part of the household there, but then when I tried to exit CAS, the game bounced me to the main menu with the error message "The game failed to load. Error Code: 110:8a98f31f:ea2a4b84. It is recommended that you relaunch the game." How do I fix this? Thanks!

@WhosAmanda4&nbsp; Please remove all of your mods and custom content, as in, move the Mods folder to the desktop, and test.&nbsp; You don't need to save your progress.

If you get the same error, try loading a backup save, again with no mods or cc.&nbsp; You can quit without saving again, or use "save as" to rename the save so it doesn't overwrite the origianl.&nbsp; Here's how to load a backup:
