Move your Mods folder outside of the Sims 4 folder, or rename it so the game does not load it, trash the localthumbcache.package file in the Sims 4 folder then load the game and play for a bit. Make sure not to save your game as none of your CC/Mods will be loaded. Do you still have the issues in this vanilla game?
I did what you suggested and have no issues. I played for a bit and it would've frozen by now. How do I get my mods and CC back without it freezing now? THANK YOU!

Great 🙂 You have to now test your CC/Mods to see which ones are broken. Move them into the newly created Mods folder in small batches testing after adding each batch. When your game breaks again you know there is a problem in one or more files you just added. Move them back out, trash the localthumbcache.package file and test that batch one by one until you find the culprit.
Moved to the Mods/CC forum for further help.

Hi @lelanih23 ! Just to follow up, you might want to start with "Previously Broken" in https://answers.ea.com/t5/Mods-CC-Issues/Broken-Obsolete-and-Updated-Sims-4-Mods-1-106-Apr-16-2024-Game/td-p/13649658 (pinned in this forum) to get rid of some non-updated broken mods. The current Updated list is also there, and I'm still sometimes referring people to the 1.105 Broken/Updated Mods & CC thread because of how much needed updating.
