Game freezes when trying to create an alien

Please help! I have tried multiple times to create an alien sim, both through adding a sim to the household through the "add occult sim" button, and through trying to change a human sim into an alien...

@wlgrhm It's a folder you find in your Documents folder. Open the explorer, then navigate to Documents and find the electronics arts folder in there.

@jazimon Are you also on PC ?
Maybe get someone to help you if you're not sure.

I can get to the files where my saves and mods and things are, but I don’t know how to change the name of the folder😞

  @wlgrhm Right-Click on the folder name and choose 'Rename' from the menu. This will change the field to something you can type in. Put the curser to the end and type _Old. then hit return.

Yes, I'm on PC. I just tried again a second time, renaming the file to "The Sims 4_Old" and repairing the game and this time it seems to have worked 🙂 I can create aliens and age them up. I was unable to test giving birth or getting abducted, however.

  I was also able to move my mods and saves back and aliens are working, but realized a script mod is causing the issue. Will work on figuring out which one it is. Thanks :>
