game frozen due to pop-ups within sims 4 opening

i've experienced this issue multiple times. when i open the sims 4 from the EA app (i've only had this issue on the EA app), there are sometimes pop-ups within the sims 4 menu with 'recommended for y...

Have you tried your game without the Mods to see if that is the issue? Move out the Mods folder from the Sims 4 folder and trash the localthumbcache.package file.

Okay so, I checked and it works without mods so I assume I should just test out what mod is causing this right?
Ps.: pressing ESC doesn't have.a different effect 🙂

    Thanks and yes, you need to figure out which Mod(s) is the cause.
