@Lexibwest05 @reaperxnekoxx @SnakeQueenMedusa As a test, please try playing in a clean user folder. Move the entire Sims 4 folder out of Documents > Electronic Arts and onto your desktop, and when you launch the game, a clean folder will spawn with no content. (Your saves and other content will be intact in the folder you moved but temporarily not read by the game.) Don't add anything to the new folder yet; just start a new save and see whether the issues persist.
If that doesn't help, please let me know whether OneDrive is running on this computer. Please also let me know what antivirus you use.

@SnakeQueenMedusa Is your one save affected with no mods or custom content present? What if you load a backup save, still with no mods or cc?

If that doesn't help, try playing with a different household for a bit, in that same save, then going back to your main one. You can use "save as" to create a new slot so you don't overwrite your progress.
- 12 months ago@puzzlezaddict It seems creating a new save fixed the issue! Thank you so much :D

@SnakeQueenMedusa and @Jamekah31 Great to hear, and thanks for confirming.
@jessicamarie9251 You'll need to sort through your mods and cc rather than simply moving them back over. Many of them may have broken with the newest patch. Here's a good place to start:
For anything not on that list, you'll need to test it yourself, either in batches or with the 50/50 method:
https://modthesims.info/wiki.php?title=Game_Help:Finding_Problem_Custom_Content#The_50.25_Method
Once you've done that, you can move over the contents of saves, Tray (saved households and builds), Screenshots and Recorded Videos if you care about those, plus the UserSetting.ini file for the login rewards.
