Game not loading at all

Hello! I have been playing the Sims 4 Digital Deluxe on my MacBook Pro (not the ideal computer to play on, but it's all I can afford rn) for a few years now, and I've always had typical issues with corrupted mods or cc, but now I've run into an issue I really don't have a solution for. So, it kind of started out of the blue, I don't know what changed, but one day my game just stopped opening. That had happened before because of corrupted cc, so I thought, okay, let me just remove all of my cc and start fresh. So I deleted all of my cc, redownloaded everything I wanted to keep, and put it into my game one by one. The way I set up my mods folder is very organized, for example, all of my cc goes into a separate subfolder, organized by creator. I've never had problems with this, they're never more than one folder deep in my mods folder, etc. So I redownloaded all of my cc from scratch, and moved all of my folders out, and put them back in one by one, and started the game every time I put a new folder in. This way I was sure I'd find what folder the corrupted cc was in, and I would work with that one folder, and then the problem would be solved. I thought I solved the issue, but every folder would open the game. There was no clear answer as to what cc was corrupted. To this day, the only way I can play the game is by removing all of my mods, and putting them back in one by one and restarting the game at least fifty times. It's very time consuming, and I don't want to do it anymore. I love the sims, and all I want to do is play. I keep all of my mods updated, I download all of my cc straight from the creators website, and I use creators cc that I know is popular and works well for most players. I genuinely don't know what the issue is. The easy answer is that its a mod, or a cc file, but I genuinely cannot tell which one it is. I've spent hours trying to figure it out, and nothing has worked. Just posting because I would love some help!

  • @rainbowtrait It sounds like a possible mod conflict. Have you tried this method? 50-50 Don't remove core/injector mods when you test either - that will mean you might get a false "it works" on a batch of mods that.

I don't mind having a look at what you have to see if anything is a noticeable issue. There are instructions for creating a text file of your mods in How to Use Mods and CC .
