Game not loading the correct save file - opening to a different save file

@superkyle221 If you go documents\electronic arts\the sims 4\saves, what date do those saves have ? Older ?

Also are you using oneDrive ?

When you got kicked to the map, did you get an error code ?

Could you also add some screenshot how your load menu looks and what save is loaded in the end ?

When I went to OneDrive the latest date for any of the saves is June of 2022. Here's are some screenshots: What I see on the homescreen, then the family that should show up, followed by the family that actually does show up. I can post a video of it too if necessary?

As for the game kicking me back to the world screen... no error message that I can remember, but again, I had only just started that save and deleted it.

I was able to recover the family by rolling back a save (something I forgot that I could do lol) - but I was only playing with that family in the first place to see what High School Years was like (as you may have inferred, I've not actually played this game since June of 2022 so I'm a bit behind) - usually when I buy a new pack I end up creating a new safe just to explore the different features, so it's not like I really lost anything SUPER important, but it was kind of annoying. Also I figured that it might be important to know in case it happens to somebody else? Really it's weird because, like, the family that it opened up to was, I think, the one that I had last played in June of 2022, but even then it was like an older save from the family I'm playing because several people in it should be dead, so I'm not sure how that happened.

Oh, and do you know what else is weird, now that I think about it? When I was playing, every time I'd go to the main house, it would announce that it had removed items from the game and replaced them with others, which is weird because I was using a house that came with the pack so I'm not sure what it would have had that I couldn't use (I don't have a picture of that but I can take one if necessary. Not sure if it's related at all!

As of now, when I rolled it back, it did not happen again (but I just wanted to see if it worked, so I haven't tried it again... long day at work and I'm only just getting home now). When I hover over the two squares it just says copy the save file path to the clipboard - not totally sure if I'm talking about the right squares though? Do I send those to somebody? (Sorry, I apologize, it's been a long day so my faculties aren't fully functional at the moment).

Thanks for sending me the message about the known issue - I had no idea! I just went and said I was having that issue.

Got it! Yeah, the local path is on the C drive.

C:\Users\kyle\OneDrive\Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4\saves\Slot_0000002c.save

Yeah, it's on OneDrive - I'm not sure how I turned it on in the first place for it to be honest. I'll look up how to do it.
