Game not starting.

After the life and death update, my game is basically unplayable. Every time I click play, nothing happens. I play on mac, and I’ve played with mods for years. But now, I click play, the mouse starts spinning, then nothing happens and I have to force quit it. I deleted all my mods, reinstalled all of them, then opened the game after I added a few, it worked. I played for a little, left the game, added no new mods or anything, and it wouldn’t open. I repaired the game, still wouldn’t open. I uninstalled and reinstalled the game, then restarted my computer, it worked. Then I left, same thing. I only have four mods and the rest is cc. All my mods are up to date, and my computer is fully updated. Literally nothing is working. The few times I’ve gotten the game to open, it’s gone smooth. Does anyone have any ideas what’s going on? It’s been almost two months of this now.
