Game randomly glitching after recent update

What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? Cats & Dogs, City Living, Discover University, Get Famous, Get to Work, Seasons, Snowy Escape, Dine Out, Parenthood, Realm of Magic, Spa Day, Cool Kitchen Stuff, Nifty Knitting, Paranormal Stuff Pack, and Vintage Glamour Stuff
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Just open up the game and try to play like normal
What happens when the bug occurs? It starts up normally but when I go into a save file to play, immediately the character icons at the bottom are blacked out and when I got onto a lot the grass has a very pixelated texture
What do you expect to see? The icons should show the sims as they were created and the grass shouldn’t be glitching
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Yes
Please describe the patch or change you made. I updated my game to the most recent patch (November 30th, 2021. Version 1.82.99.1230) and immediately noticed the glitch. I didn’t add any new mods. After removing the mods that I had from my game, the glitch is still apparent. I even repaired my game 3 times and the glitch is still there
I can’t find any other forums talking about this so I have no idea if I did something to my game or if it really is just related to the recent patch. All I know is that it started acting like this after I updated and I didn’t add any new mods, plus it happens even without mods. CAS is fine and the opening screen is fine. I haven’t changed my graphics. I’ve tried repairing the game 3 times. Any and all help would be appreciated

You won't loose anything. Just make sure to not delete any files and make a backup.
After renaming, repair your game by right clicking on the game in Origin.
Try on a new game with nothing added back first (start new game). If it works, put back your save game and try again. If it still works, you can start putting stuff back.
- Options.ini (or just re-set all your settings manually)
- Tray Folder
- Screenshots/Videos/Custom music
- Rest of the save games (leave out slot_00000001.save which is the autosave and no longer needed - if you still have it)
- Custom content like clothing, hair, skins, make up ....
- ConfigOverride, if you have your own configuration files.
- Mods (one by one, making sure they all still work)
The rest does not need putting back, cause they are mostly cache files that recreate or log files that are not needed for the game.
