Game stuck loading/building or crashing

My game will not allow me to build on the 30x30 lot in Tomarang. I have all the packs. Tried without mods. Nothing is working and I can’t roll back to a save earlier than the first time I edited this lot.

    Hm but, I experienced the same problem again with another save just on a different lot? Both in Tomarang. Anywhere else is fine. I replace the original base game lot, everything is fine but, when I decide to change it later it endlessly loads.

     

    ***update***
    i recreated the problem. I found the first lot I tried to place and then tried to place it again this time with MOO cheat on. I am now stuck in the infinite loading screen.

     

    ***another update***
    i have discovered a workaround!!!! I went to the lot and sledgehammered everything. It worked this time. I saved the game and exited. When I loaded it back up the lot was empty and just now when I placed a lot from the gallery it worked. No crashing no infinite loading!

    I put a lot from the gallery. Then when I found one I liked better I tried to replace it and it would not let me. I pulled up a very old save from before I installed for rent and that was working fine at first but then crashed after I did the same thing only this time it was the 40x30 lot. I found a lot I liked better than the one I had initially placed and tried to replace it. I have tried manually sledgehammering, bulldozing first, nothing works. It almost seems like once you edit the lot you can’t change it again.

    i am seeing a lot of people report an infinite loading screen in tomarang when trying to place builds or edit. I think we all have the same bug.

    i have quite a few crash and last exception reports from the bug if that helps?

    @LyssSimpatico Unfortunately, there isn't just one bug and I'm trying to distinguish. There's some info in the sticky on endless loading. I know you posted in the bug thread on endless loading but since it's a new lot, I believe your issue is different.

    The exceptions could be helpful. Not sure about the crash logs as no one except EA really knowns how to read them.
