I'm encountering an issue with my game getting stuck on loading screen. I've attempted renaming my sims 4 folder and getting a new one and it worked, However, whenever I attempt to play with my desired household, the game gets stuck on the loading screen.although, I can hear the sound effects indicating that The Sims 4 has finished loading.
@1mmarie Is this just the specific household? If so, *and* if you use mods, these are common causes of a specific household not loading:
Yes, It's only not loading on my specific household, but on other households it loads just fine. I've tried all of those solutions and my game still doesn't load.

I successfully moved my sim to another household and the game loaded, but now whenever my sim teleports somewhere it doesn't load. also, when trying to save my game, it gets stuck on the saving screen.
@1mmarie Are you on Windows? If so, try switching to DX9 (instructions are in the Sims 4 PC tech forum, start here: https://answers.ea.com/t5/PC/bd-p/The-Sims-4). That would let you know if a file in Mods needs to be updated for DX11, which can be done in a Sims 4 Studio batch fix.

@1mmarie Okay. And when you're getting stuck on the loading screen after moving, is this with mods in or out? And did you have any career mods, especially for part-time careers or freelance gigs?
No, I did not have any career mods & when I'm getting stuck it's with mods out.
@1mmarie The type of mods I'm pointing you to cause the problems when they're removed. Did you have any freelance gig mods? school mods?
