It was odd, i was playing Sims 4 with my household, and we went to travel to a lot that was made with CC and while going there my game got stuck on the loading screen, so i ended up force closing the game, now when i try to turn the game on I cannot get past the loading screen, and when i click task manager it says "not responding" what is going on? also, when i removed all my mods and loaded the game up it gets past the loading screen.
There is a high probability that this behavior is related to an outdated or broken mod. You might try the 50/50 search to find the culprit.
As always make a backup of your game data before you start tweaking your game to have a fallback option if you don't like the result.
A 50/50 search refers to a method of testing your mod folder by eliminating mods as the culprit via splitting them in half and moving one half to a safe place, while leaving the other still in the game.
If you have a lot of mods, this idea can seem very daunting, however, it's certainly the fastest way to rule out mods. Taking out mods at random, unless you're very lucky, will take you a lot longer.
To possibly shorten it somewhat it is worth testing with Only CC first in order to see if you can rule that out and only 50/50 your mods.
