anniesim5 we ask questions and need answers in order to try and help you. You didn’t state that you had tried any troubleshooting steps in your previous reply so the assumption is that you haven’t.
After you renamed the Sims 4 folder and relaunched the game how far into the loading process and gameplay did you get? At what point did the game freeze/crash?
