Game will not load...are the server's down?

Help! My Sims 4 app is not opening my saved game, the plum blob just spins. I have removed/uninstalled and restarted more than I care to mention as well as repaired the game through manage option, r...

Since a new game works fine it appears that the save is corrupted this can happen when using broken mods in the game.

You can try to restore an older version of the save and see if that works but first update your mods or remove those that are broken.
