@elloluv333 Many slider mods were broken by a game patch earlier this year. Sometime around May or June, if I recall correctly. If you are trying to use a mod that is older than that, maybe see if there is an updated version available. I'm using several slider mods and they are not preventing my game from launching. I updated all of them after that game patch.
Also, make sure you are putting them in the correct location. For Windows it would be Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4 > Mods. Also, make sure any downloads you are trying to add are decompressed, ie not .zip, .rar, .7z, etc. Only .package and .ts4script files can go in your Mods folder.
