Guys…when you have mods you MUST check to see if your mods are compatible after an update or patch. I fault EA for a lot but not for broken mods. Most of the creators will check compatibility and update fairly quickly but many don’t and some will leave the mod broken. There is a website with a list of mods where you can check if your mod is broken or not, I’m not sure if I can mention it here but should be easy enough to find if you google. Leaving broken mods in your game can cause a host of issues, so it’s incumbent upon you to check them.

- crinrict11 months agoHero+@NanaLawrence103 Please move your mods folder to the desktop, delete Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4 > localthumbcache and then try again on a backup of your save to see of you can duplicate the issue on a game with no mods.

@crinrict I backed up my saves but they no longer work, at least the game finally runs now but my game no longer reads any of my mods. I just noticed, my mods folder is missing.
