Glitch after update sims 4!

Question

Hi everyone! I didn't know where to post this but I hope I could get some help. After the sims 4 update, my game hasn't been working like it used to. When I hover over my sim to see there name it is glitched out. And when I go to add and event on the calendar I can't because it is glitched out as well. I don't know what to do. At the point I thought starting over my whole game from fresh to see is that would do anything or try to delete sims and origin to see if it would work but it didn't. if anyone knows how to solve this, I would really appreciate it!!

@kaybanks12  Are you using mods/cc in your game ? If so, have you tested without ?

yes I am using mods and cc, but no I haven't. would I have to take everything out of the folder to test it?

@kaybanks12  Move your mods folder to the desktop, delete the locatlhumbcache file and backup your saves. Then start the game and test if it occurs still.
