@ClaudiaSoup I've been having this same issue, with and without mods. I can get it to work if I don't plan the event in advance and just set it to start immediately, but any event planned in advance has no goals despite being planned with them previously.
@TaisceRayne When you test without mods, how are you doing it? If you haven't tried this, please do: Drag the whole Mods folder to the desktop, delete the file called localthumbcache, open the game to test.
@luthienrising That's exactly what I've been doing, still no luck in getting the events to have goals if planned in advance.
@TaisceRayne Could you test in a fresh folder on a new save please? For the fresh folder, rename the whole The Sims 4 folder. When you start the game, it will be as if you're launching it for the first time. Test in a new save. You can put old files back in after.
@luthienrisingoddly enough, that *did* work. I'm going to repair my game files again and see if that helps at all.
