Sheep and goats are unable to leave the inventory and be placed on the lots. I try from the inventory menu on the sim and the animals never appear, I click on the lot for placement and they do not appear. The animals refuse to leave inventory no matter what I do.
Do you click on the animal in inventory and then select "place in world"?
Clicking on the lot will not give you an option to place anything from your inventory there.
I'm having the same problem. I go to my inventory to place a sheep or goat. I click on "place in world" but nothing ever happens. I can't place them, move them or do anything.
So while clicking the ground does not generally allow place from inventory, for sheep and goats you should actually have the option. Are you playing with any mods/cc? If so, have you tested with them removed?
Hi @BootsMcRiley Do you have any mods or CC? If you do, please test without; you might have some that needed updating after Horse Ranch came out.

Hi @BootsMcRiley . If you're worried that you might accidentally save while you're testing, you can make a copy of your Saves folder on your desktop or start with a "Save As" to make a test save.
