It really is... was also frustrating. I got them married at the local park so a different lot.
Could you try what happens if you do it on your home lot ?

I tried it on a home lot. She had the perfect venue. I could not get both people in the same room at the wedding. I had an arch in the garden. I clicked on the arch, and finally, after several tries, get married popped up. The dude finally showed up. Forget trying to get all the guests in to sit down. I had to keep clicking get married, but then he leaves and I never see him again. So, I had to go to manage world and not save it. It was a disaster I had literally spent hours hanging lights in the garden, arranging a piano, setting tables, hiring caterers, entertainment, the works, but I can't get them to actually get married. Later, I tried it again without people. I couldn't get them to just GO TO THE GARDEN. She went, but he wouldn't. All they wanted to do was get on the computer. So, they got married in her office. She was wearing a swimsuit because she'd just swam across the fountain in the garden. He had some his summer outfit complete with headphones. It was a moment to try to forget. It's so frustrating. My first marriage was spontaneous. They "eloped" and got married on the porch. I'd like to actually be able to have a wedding for a change. She had the perfect place, but it was a complete waste of my time and effort. But it seems like the game is geared AGAINST couples having weddings.
